CINCINNATI – Nov. 12, 2013 – Paul A. Smith has joined W&S Financial Group Distributors, Inc., the wholesale distributor of annuities and life insurance products from member companies of Western & Southern Financial Group (Western & Southern), as senior regional vice president for financial institutions in California and Hawaii.
In his new position, Smith works consultatively with financial professionals in the financial institution distribution channel. To help financial institutions advance the retirement readiness of their clients, he provides training, product information, marketing and sales-support planning and business-building tips and techniques.

Prior to that, he was a regional vice president for Symetra Financial Corporation in Washington. Smith earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Illinois State University.
