To work closely with advisor partners and group benefits clients
TOWSON, MD, Monday, November 12, 2018 — Voluntary Disruption, a Division of Silverman Benefits Group, a leading, carrier-agnostic independent enhanced benefits firm with a large national footprint and a reputation for bespoke strategy and best-in-class service, announces its hiring of 17-year industry veteran Misty Fussell. Fussell will be based out of Columbus, GA and will serve as Voluntary Disruption’s newest Senior Account Manager, reporting directly to Eric Silverman, Founder and Owner. Fussell will work closely with Voluntary Disruption’s adviser partners and group benefits clients – with responsibilities including developing, cultivating, and maintaining the all-inclusive best-in-class service that Voluntary Disruption clients have come to expect.
“I’ve had the privilege of working with Misty and getting to know her over the last decade and it’s not every day that someone with her talent and experience becomes available, so when I first learned that Misty was on the market and looking for new opportunities, I jumped at the chance to hire her directly and make her a large part of our rapidly growing firm,” says Voluntary Disruption’s Founder and Owner, Eric Silverman.
“I’ve been working with Eric and some of his large group clients for many years. I’ve seen him, and his business develop from one of the largest single carrier teams in the country, to the national independent powerhouse that it is today,” said Fussell. “I couldn’t be more excited to join him on his journey to continue elevating the voluntary benefits industry to heights it’s never seen before,”
Brandy Hartin, Voluntary Disruption’s National Sales Director, says, “Misty is the perfect fit at the right time. I’m confident she’s going to greatly enhance our account servicing capabilities which will allow Eric and I to focus more time and effort on partner growth and new client acquisition.”
