Mike McGlothlin Named President for Society of FSP

The group’s 93rd president to take office September 1

Ardmore, PA — Michael J. McGlothlin, CLU®, ChFC®, CFP®, LUTCF®, Executive Vice President of Retirement at Ash Brokerage in Fort Wayne, Indiana, takes office as FSP’s 93rd president on Sept.1.

Mr. McGlothlin specializes in retirement planning, relationship building and practice management. A past president of the Central Indiana Chapter, he has served on several national and local FSP committees. A sought-after author and public speaker, Mr. McGlothlin regularly publishes articles, videos, podcasts and books on retirement and practice management.

He is a frequent blogger on all these topics on the FSPgo website, which is accessible here. With more than 30 years in the financial services profession, he recently became a member of the Forbes Financial Council — an invitation-only organization for senior level finance executives.

Mike is a graduate of the Kelley School of Business at Indiana University, where he served as a student basketball manager. In recognition of the value student managers bring to collegiate sports, he established a scholarship at Lawrence North High School that awards full tuition and books to an individual who serves as a student manager for any sport. He and his wife, Alisa, reside in Fort Wayne.
