To help refine the company’s underwriting standards

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Lee Fluharty has recently been named Chief Underwriter for Nationwide’s life insurance business. He succeeds Eric Flender, who retired last year. “Lee brings a lot of experience to his role as Chief Underwriter and he’s joining us at a very exciting time as we are in the midst of transforming our underwriting processes and technology,” said Holly Snyder, vice president of Nationwide’s life insurance business. “Lee will help us continue to refine our underwriting standards that will make it easier for producers to do business with us, as well as allow us to cover even more people with valuable life insurance protection.”
