To serve as senior vice president of enterprise strategy
INDIANAPOLIS (June 25, 2015)—OneAmerica announced today that Kelly Huntington, president and CEO of Indianapolis Power & Light Company (IPL), will join the organization next month as senior vice president of enterprise strategy.
In this role, Huntington will serve as the senior advisor on enterprise strategy to OneAmerica executive leadership. She also will be responsible for the coordination and execution of major strategic initiatives, marketing, internal audit and community affairs.

The addition of Kelly will better equip us to continue to grow and to build the capacity required to serve customers and producers as a larger and more complex organization.” A graduate of the Massachusetts Institute of Technology with an MBA from Northwestern University, Huntington has served as president and CEO of IPL for the past two years. From 2011 to 2013, she was senior vice president and CFO of IPL.
She joined The AES Corporation, IPL’s parent company, in 2003 and has held various positions in financial analysis, investor relations, risk management and special projects. “Although I will miss the wonderful people of IPL, I’m excited for this new opportunity,” Huntington said. “I’m looking forward to beginning this next chapter at OneAmerica. The company has seen outstanding growth over the last decade, and I was attracted to joining an organization whose values have been an important part of their business since 1877.”
In 2014, Huntington was honored as a member of the Indianapolis Business Journal’s Forty Under 40 and Women of Influence. She currently serves as chair of the Board of Directors of the Indianapolis Neighborhood Housing Partnership and treasurer of the Indianapolis Zoo. She resides in Indianapolis with her husband and three children. # #
