Brings extensive experience , including independent distribution and agency leadership
Newman Long Term Care, the Richfield, Minnesota based LTCi specialty firm, has announced that Doug Grove has been named president, effective May 31, 2022. He will succeed Tim Dona who is pursuing a career opportunity with a leading independent broker-dealer.
We thank Tim for his leadership the past four years as he took the firm foundation built by Deb Newman and set plans in motion that took the company to the next level. Our growth in independent distribution is the direct result of his guidance. Tim also helped us partner with some of the largest distributors and firms in the country. We wish him well in his next venture.
Over 30 Years Experience
Doug Grove comes to NewmanLTC with extensive experience including independent distribution and leadership roles at Principal, Mass Mutual and Thrivent. With over 30 years of experience in financial and insurance services, Doug brings a proven track record in business development and sales growth that will help position Newman Long Term Care to serve our country’s LTC planning needs well into the future.
The remainder of the Newman LTC leadership team will remain intact with Andrea Meger (Head of Operations, Finance and HR), Craig Roers (Head of Marketing), Melanie Hertz (Head of Brokerage Sales and Business Development), and Anthony Vossenberg (Key Account Management) continuing to run the day-to-day operations, reporting to Doug.
