Proven leadership and industry insights will guide continued growth
INDIANAPOLIS (June 26, 2018) — OneAmerica today announced the appointment of Dennis Martin as the president of Individual Life and Financial Services (ILFS). A 27-year industry veteran, Martin has served in an interim ILFS leadership role in ILFS since January of this year.
“Dennis’ extensive industry knowledge and strategic insights, combined with his rich history with OneAmerica, will ensure the continued growth of our individual life insurance, annuity and asset-based long-term-care products,” said Scott Davison, OneAmerica chairman, president and CEO. “Under his leadership, our team will continue to deliver the best products in the marketplace, not only maintaining our momentum but continuing to excel.”
Providing Leadership & Vision
Martin joined OneAmerica in 2009 and has previously served as senior vice president of Product and Business Development for ILFS, overseeing insurance operations and product development for life, annuity and asset-based long-term care, as well as broker-dealer operations. He also provided leadership and vision for the current and future product portfolio and worked to identify opportunities for expansion.
Earlier in his career, he gained actuarial and marketing experience at Great-West Life in Canada and spent eight years with the Western & Southern Financial Group and Columbus Life, building out their product development capabilities. In addition to his actuarial and product knowledge, Martin has significant experience working directly with sales and distribution across multiple channels.

An honors graduate of the University of Manitoba, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in statistics and actuarial science, Martin is a Fellow in the Society of Actuaries and Canadian Institute of Actuaries, and a member of the American Academy of Actuaries. He also serves on the board of directors of School on Wheels in Indianapolis.
