MELBOURNE, Fla. — March 17, 2014 — Florida native Cathy L. Lewis, LUTCF, has been named agency manager at The Western and Southern Life Insurance Company (Western & Southern Life) to lead business development and operations for the company’s Melbourne Agency.
“With more than 20 years’ experience in the life insurance industry, Cathy is the ideal leader to help Western & Southern Life expand the availability of its products and services to serve more middle-market consumers in the Melbourne area,” said Troy Brodie, vice president of sales.
As agency manager, Lewis is responsible for driving profitable sales growth; and training, coaching and developing current and future sales managers in the region.
Lewis joined Western & Southern Life in July 2013 as a sales manager before being promoted to her current position in February. Prior to that, she held various positions during her 21 years at MetLife, most recently as director of recruiting and agency managing director. Before entering the financial services industry, Lewis served as an Air Force professional military instructor for 10 years in Texas and California.
Lewis holds FINRA registrations 6, 7, 24 and 53 and is life, health and property-casualty licensed in Florida.
