Beth Wood to Keynote LIMRA’s 2019 Marketing Conference

Guardian Life Insurance Company CMO to examine the importance of ‘reimagining the client experience’

WINDSOR, Conn., April 17, 2019 – LIMRA today announced that Beth Wood, vice president and chief marketing officer for Guardian Life Insurance Company, will be the keynote speaker for their 2019 Marketing Conference. The conference will be held in Boston, Massachusetts from May 29 – 31, 2019.

Wood will explore the importance of reimagining the client experience and how to leverage modern marketing technologies. She will review several methods being employed by today’s insurance companies and top marketers to effectively reach and engage with consumers.

The Marketing Conference draws hundreds of industry professionals involved in all areas of marketing – product, consumer, producer, digital and strategy – as well as research and consumer insights and communications, advertising and branding. The conference will focus on many topics, including digital initiatives, consumer insights, customer experience, marketing strategies and more.

Nancy Harhut, chief creative officer, HBT Marketing, will share findings from behavioral science studies on consumers and the opportunity it presents for marketers as they develop campaigns.

During the conference, LIMRA will also announce the winners of the 2019 Creative Connections Award contest. In its third year, the awards recognize creative excellence, innovation and highlight best practices in financial services marketing.
