This easy-to-incorporate product is designed specifically for advisors engaged in fee-based financial planning.
CINCINNATI–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Great American Life Insurance Company® expanded its fee-based product line with the launch of the new Index Achiever® Advisory registered index-linked annuity (RILA).
Designed to complement clients’ existing portfolios and strengthen their financial plan, this product offers market-linked growth opportunity and reduced risk with several types of partial downside protection to choose from. In comparison to Great American Life’s existing suite of fee-based solutions, this new addition may be a fit for clients willing to take on additional risk in exchange for greater growth opportunity.
“Since launching the industry’s first fee-based annuity in 2016, we’ve remained committed to the RIA channel and addressing their clients’ needs. In today’s volatile market, we recognize the importance of reducing downside risk while maintaining growth opportunity – and considering the record RILA sales we saw in 2021, we know that these solutions are fulfilling that need,” says Tony Compton, Great American Life Divisional Vice President of Broker/Dealer and RIA Sales.
“Not only do we seek to curate solutions that align with clients’ evolving needs, but we also ensure accessibility on commonly used platforms used for portfolio management, reporting and billing. We’re proud to offer a seamless experience every step of the way.”
According to LIMRA’s Secure Retirement Institute (SRI), RILA sales broke records in 2021 – sales exceeded $38 billion, up 61% from 2020. The SRI is forecasting this growth to continue in 2022.
