Financial Soundings Is Now Remotiv

FinTech savings platform announces company relaunch in conjunction with name change

Miami, Florida, October 22nd, 2021 – – Financial Soundings, an unconflicted, independent savings focused FinTech company, announced today it has completed a major relaunch under the new name Remotiv, derived from Retirement Motivation Technologies.

“The purpose of our relaunch is to complete the rollout of our new technologies, as we leverage the power of our FinTech platform to shape our company for the next generation and beyond,” said Bobby Dughi who serves as Chairman and CEO. “As Financial Soundings, we were on the forefront of the Retirement Readiness wave that swept over this industry. And for all the great progress made in the retirement plan business, there remain far too many workers in America who are still not saving enough. As Remotiv, our technology enhancements exist to change the narrative in today’s 401(k) and other retirement plan markets to a profound focus on increased savings for all eligible employees.”

Laying The Groundwork For The Future

Over the past decade under the leadership of industry pioneer Bob Dughi (who currently serves as Executive Chairman) and President Steve Maschino, the company has successfully laid the groundwork for the creation and delivery of an innovative and flexible FinTech model. “It was a crucial decision years ago to develop and refine our intelligent data-driven, and employee-centric Retirement Readiness platform designed to increase the efficient utilization of employer-sponsored retirement plan benefits. We are very proud of the work we have done and remain even more excited about our future and new leadership team,” said Steve Maschino.

Over the last few years, the company further developed its FinTech platform with multifaceted features, while still keeping its sole purpose focused on increased employee savings. The platform includes Lifestyle Retirement Readiness, Savings Mindset Coach App, and Personalized Coaching for employees who truly need assistance saving more for retirement. Furthermore, all components of Remotiv’s platform are flexible and can be customized to fit the exact needs of each plan sponsor and their employees.

Moving forward our name, logo, and technology will be different, but we are all still one team with the same purpose of helping employees realize and reach their perfect retirement...

Working with Sport and Performance Psychology professionals, Remotiv utilizes a psychology-based savings mindset training approach that includes unconflicted retirement savings coaches as well as highly personalized messaging in the soon-to-be-launched Savings Mindset Coach (SMC) app. Additional improvements embedded in the Retirement Readiness software include lifestyle enhancements to further customize the RR ScoreTM, targeted and dynamic education, retirement outcome projections, individual savings plans, and flexible plan sponsor directed investment strategies.

The Future Is Remotiv

“Given the evolution of our FinTech platform, the time is right to relaunch as Remotiv,” added Lee Tupper, CTO and System Architect. “In addition to our new mobile application and supporting analytics platform, we are expanding our footprint in the marketplace by adding feature sets and integration components to our core set of applications. We continue to deliver great benefits not only to our employer clients and their workforce, but also to our record keeper, advisor, and product provider partners.”

Remotiv has carved out a niche in the industry as the answer for large employers looking to enhance their fiduciary governance of the retirement plans by delivering a custom solution that increases employee savings while remaining completely disconnected from the selection of investment products, fund selection, and plan design. “Our complementary technology allows us to embed our solution while creating very little work for our employer clients, and I know that is something they appreciate about our service,” adds Tupper.

In summary, Dughi commented, “For years we have known that our platform is changing people’s lives for the better. Moving forward our name, logo, and technology will be different, but we are all still one team with the same purpose of helping employees realize and reach their perfect retirement.”
