The Society of FSP And The American College of Financial Services Launch Joint Education Promotion Initiative
BRYN MAWR, Pa., March 10, 2017 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — The Society of Financial Service Professionals (FSP) and The American College of Financial Services announce their partnership in promoting The College’s highly regarded advanced degree educational programs to the Society of FSP’s professional membership.
The College and the Society will co-sponsor the two graduate programs later this year.
The Master of Science in Financial Services (MSFS) runs from June 2017 to October 2018 (12 courses focused on the latest technical tools for analyzing and planning financial strategies).
The Master of Science in Management (MSM) runs from June 2017 to May 2018 (10 courses focused on more highly developed executive leadership skills).
These two master’s degrees are specifically geared to the professional caliber of those financial and investment advisors, insurance agents and field and home office leaders who are members of the Society of FSP. “The professionals who belong to our multidisciplinary community share a commitment to high-quality education that enhances their expertise and elevates their level of client service,” said Joseph E. Frack, CPA, CGMA, the Society’s CEO. “The College’s graduate programs offer that kind of training.”
Both programs will kick off with a one-week, in-person group residency session conducted by The College’s acclaimed faculty. There will also be an opportunity for the graduate students to learn firsthand from the Society of FSP’s leaders about the advantages of membership.
“This collaborative partnership will benefit both The College and the Society of FSP,” according to The College’s President and CEO Robert R. Johnson, PhD, CFA®, CAIA®. “Building awareness of The College’s graduate level educational offerings to FSP’s membership and introducing the Society as a professional organization to The College’s students and alumni is a win-win for everyone.”
