Wellesley, MA.; April 8, 2020 — Bulbrook Drislane Brokerage, the Wellesley-based wholesale insurance marketing company that has served the New England life insurance marketplace since 1984, has announced it has changed its ownership structure. The two principals, John Bulbrook and Rick Drislane, have divested the life insurance component of the company, and the new entity is named Drislane & Mastroianni Brokerage, effective February 28, 2020.
Amy Mastroianni, Director of Sales And Marketing, has assumed 100 percent ownership of the new life brokerage company and will manage the day-to-day business. She has worked for the company for 30 years, starting as a case manager before advancing to her current position. Drislane will stay on as a consultant to help with the transition. “This company has been a leader in the New England life-brokerage market for close to 40 years,” said Mastroianni, “and I am looking forward to continuing that tradition of excellence.”
Elizabeth Herlihy, senior case manager with the agency, will continue in that position in the new corporation. She brings 35 years of brokerage experience and, according to Mastroianni, is an integral part of the agency’s success.
Bulbrook will continue to manage and operate the Secondary Market Income payments component, which will be renamed New England Annuity Associates, LLC.
“I am excited to have Amy assume control of the life agency,” Drislane said. “For the most part, this is just a name change, so with her outstanding management skills and knowledge of the business, I see a great opportunity for continued success.”
